The full name of BMGT 613 is Statistic. I took this course in Fall semester in 2017. For this class, I got an A- in final. I learned a lot from it.
Statistics is a science of studying data. Its main content is to help us collect, analyze, and collate data in a more rational manner so as to better analyze them, find out the regularity, and make inferences or predictions about observed phenomena until corresponding countermeasures are taken.
I think the purpose of statistics is to systematize and organize statistical data and meet the needs of statistical analysis.
The scope of statistics is very wide, it involves many aspects of our lives. For our management profession, mastering statistics knowledge is also very helpful for our future work.
